On paper it looks like St Pat’s have a good chance at getting a win on Sunday versus Blayney Bears.

Bears are struggling, having only won one of their past 26 games and are rooted to the bottom of the Group 10 premier league.
Which means it’s a perfect opportunity for St Pat’s to get a win and turn its season around.
However, it’s a game the team can’t afford to be complacent in according to St Pat’s captain-coach Greg Behan.
“We definitely can’t be complacent,” he said.
“We’ve only played one game in a month, so we’ve got to prepare right and turn up for the game,” he said.
St Pat’s last game was a 26-all draw against Orange CYMS which saw Saints’ halfback Tim Holman score an unlikely last minute draw to salvage a point at the Jack Arrow Sporting Complex.
Even when CYMS looked like that had bagged the two points, St Pat’s dug deep to somehow find the equaliser.
Behan said his team never say die attitude was pleasing to see.
“Our guys showed that we have a will to win and they obviously banded behind each other,” he said.
“A draw is a result and we’ve spoke about wanting to build off that. Hopefully we can get the two points on the weekend.”
Blayney’s most recent performance was a spirited 20-14 loss to Bathurst Panthers on June 3.
And while St Pat’s opponents on the weekend are stuck in last place, Behan is wary of some of the quality players in the Bear’s pack.
“The first guy that comes to mind is Timmy Mortimer – he’s a brilliant footballer,” he said.
“While they may be in last place, we’re not going into this game thinking any less of them.”
Due to not playing a game in almost a month, Behan said the club has been doing extra training to remain match fit.
“We’ve upped training a bit with the cardio side of things,” he said.
“Obviously there’s still a lot going on with our skill-based stuff we do at training but we’re trying to pick the cardio up a bit because you do drop off a bit [after not playing a game in almost a month].”
St Pat’s are currently in sixth but if the highly-fancied Oberon Tigers defeat Lithgow Workies in Oberon, St Pat’s will remain there.
A win for Blayney would see them move off last place, only if they win big and Lithgow are soundly defeated.
St Pat’s will also celebrate its ladies day on Sunday.
Attendees can purchase a $20 wristband at the bar which will include drinks and food.
The day gets underway with league tag at 11am, before the under 18s take to the field at midday.
First division starts at 1.10pm, before the premier league at 2.30pm.
