While inside the homes, the thieves rummaged through several rooms.
In a separate incident, an offender entered a home in Prospect Street through an unlocked door around 12.30am on Tuesday.
The occupant was at home at the time of the break-in but the offender ran out of the premises when disturbed.
Lock up, every time
POLICE have received several reports of thefts from cars.
Cash was taken from a car that had been parked in Bouffler Place while a light switch was stolen after thieves forced entry to a Nissan Navara parked in Macquarie Street.
Three males were seen running away after a vehicle’s window was smashed in Middlemiss Place while the driver’s door of a car parked in Esrom Street was damaged.
