The annual festival is held on Mount Panorama and in the past couple of years has featured some amazing acts – just think Black Sorrows, Bernard Fanning, Dan Sultan, Meg Mac, The Idea Of North and Kate Miller-Heidke.
And, not only have some of the country’s most well-known performers played, but some of our most-loved local ones as well.
The two-day festival also includes a host of food and drink stalls, workshops and free entertainment once you are in the gates.
Parade was among the many music lovers at the Inland Sea of Sound last year and due to the chilly weather is pleased this year’s festival will be held a few weeks later.
The dates for the 2018 Inland Sea of Sound are November 30 and December 1.

Get hands on for some science fun
ALREADY looking towards the upcoming school holidays and wondering what you are going to do with the children?
Parade has come across two interesting little workshops that are being held in the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden at Mount Tomah.
The sessions are called ‘Nerd Alert – Hands on Science Fun’ and they are on from 1-3pm on July 11 and 18.
Parade has been told the two science sessions will give your children the opportunity explore the wonders of nature.
On July 11, workshop participants will discover plants that are older than the dinosaurs in ‘Mossy Monsters’, before exploring the jungle to hunt for these primitive plants.
Then, on July 18 a ‘Colour and Light’ will be held where children will be able to discover the wonders of light and explore all the colours of the rainbow.
Cost is $20 a child and the accompanying adults are invited for free. Workshops are recommended for children aged eight years or older.
