The Roads and Maritime Services Live Traffic website reports the scene of the collision is near the intersection of Gilmour Street and the Great Western Highway.

Drivers have been urged to exercise caution in the area.

Motorists have also reported a second crash on the highway about 10 minutes east of Bathurst.

Witnesses say a car has rolled and police and fire crews are on the scene.
