Reports say the snow has settled, however, in some of the districts south of the town.
The Bureau of Meteorology says snow is possible above 1000 metres in the Central Tablelands on Saturday.
Bathurst is forecast to have a maximum of 10 degrees on Saturday and only nine degrees on Sunday.
