Gwen was born in Portland in 1928 and spent most of her life living on the land at Meadow Flat before moving into Bathurst 25 years ago.
After moving to the city she started a new life, including travelling and being a keen member of the Bathurst RSL Club.
Gwen still actively enjoys indoor bowls, bus trips and new vogue social dancing.
She enjoyed the evening tremendously, especially catching up with family, including her older sister Val from Cessnock and younger sister Shirley from Queanbeyan.
Many nieces and nephews of three generations were there also to share the evening with Gwen and her dear friends from bowls and dancing.
Gwen was grateful so many people could attend on such a cold evening in Bathurst.
