Ticket sales on Wednesday morning indicated that 9121 tickets had been sold, including another 2000 aids.
Around one-third of ticket sales are from outside the 2795 postcode, including purchases from Victoria and Queensland.
Ticket sales are already on track to beat last year’s total of 20,326.
Mayor Graeme Hanger indicated that ticket sales are strong.
“It’s recommended that you purchase your tickets online to ensure your spot for an ice skating session,” he said.
Tickets can be purchased online at the festival’s website at www.bathurstwinterfestival.com.au.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the ice rink, but the advice is to book tickets online to avoid disappointment.
This year’s Bathurst Winter Festival, the fourth instalment of the annual event, will run until July 22.
