A NEW president was inducted when members gathered for the Bathurst Inner Wheel Club changeover at the Bathurst RSL Club on Wednesday.

Inner Wheel is the largest international women’s service club in the world and its motto is “Friendship and Service”.

“Outgoing president Linn Pusterla was proud to induct incoming president Judy Newton, who then inducted the new committee,” club correspondent Sandra Jackson said.

“This year our major donations have gone to the Bathurst PCYC for its gymnastics team to visit the United States of America; to Wattle Tree House in Bathurst, which acts as a halfway house for women and children; and to relief for drought-affected farmers with money for hay and non-perishable goods for the 2BS appeal.”
