And this fact should be stated clearly on every column he writes for the Advocate, particularly in the name of transparency, honesty and a fair democracy.
Anything less is simply unacceptable and secretive political bias designed to perpetually advantage the National Party, and the truth is the people of Bathurst deserve much, much better than that.
It is interesting that this National Party stooge criticised Cr Jess Jennings (“Does the ideas man have an eye on a state election date?”, July 17) for actually having policy ideas, but specifically for (single-handedly I might add) delivering free council water to farmers who are struggling with drought for stock and domestic purposes, and which other councils are now copying.
Clearly the National Party do not care about severe drought impacting on the very farmers they claim to represent.
It’s time WW owns up to his true colours, each and every week, by clearly stating his membership (and perhaps any branch positions he holds) to the National Party, because his weekly column is simply a Trojan Horse for extreme right-wing political conservatism pretending to be mainstream.
Anything less than clear political disclosure and transparency, particularly in the lead-up to state and federal elections, is a bald lie to the readers and voters of Bathurst, who deserve better.
