The weather forecast failed to disappoint, as snow fell across the Central West, with some residents waking up to their properties covered in a nice, white blanket of snow on Tuesday.

Bathurst shivered through a chilly, windy Tuesday, with the mercury only hitting a high of 10 degrees and a low of one degrees, however the city missed out on snow.

Snow was most prominent in and around Oberon, with residents receiving solid amounts of snow which transformed their properties into a winter wonderland.
Edith Road, the road connecting Oberon to the Jenolan Caves, was closed on Tuesday morning, as the road was covered in snow and ice, making it dangerous for motorists.
There was also falls at Yetholme, as well as Millthorpe and Newbridge, however both failed to produce settled snow.
The road to Mount Canobolas was also closed on Tuesday morning due to snow and ice on the roads.
More snow has been forecast right across the Central West region on Sunday morning.
