Pat’s can secure Premier League Hockey minor premiership against Zig Zag

THERE’S a nice prize awaiting St Pat’s if things go right for them in this Saturday’s women’s Premier League Hockey meeting with hosts Lithgow Zig Zag: A minor premiership.

Saints will travel to Lithgow as big favourites to put a lock on the number one spot – and the home major semi-final that comes with it – having accounted for Zig Zag 7-1 in their last meeting.

Pat’s still have just the one loss next to their name this season and in recent games have been busy banging in goals.

They’ve scored an average of four goals a match over the past five weeks and you would be brave to bet against them raising that number against a winless Zig Zag.

Still, the Saints won’t want to be complacent over a two-game away spell to end the season which wraps up against CYMS next weekend.
