Snow is possible above 800 metres in the Central Tablelands on Sunday morning, with a slight 20 per cent chance of a shower in the south, near zero chance elsewhere.
Snow fell in the Central Tablelands as recently as Tuesday, with the Oberon region receiving the most significant falls.
This resulted in roads to Jenolan Caves closing because of the excess snow and ice on the road.
Forecast across the Central Tablelands on Sunday:
- Bathurst – 8, 1 (partly cloudy)
- Oberon – 5, -1 (partly cloudy)
- Orange – 6, -1 (partly cloudy)
- Blayney – 6, 0 (snow showers)
Snow has even been forecast as far south as Crookwell and near Goulburn.
