The event is officially a sell out, with over 600 tickets sold to the Rural Aid fundraising night.
Money raised from tickets sold and from events on the night will go towards fundraising a specialised counsellor on the ground to help tackle the mental health problems associated with the drought.
Rural Aid founder Charles Alder said its fantastic news that the event has sold out.
“The money raised on the night will be really important, as it will go towards funding a new mental health worker,” he said.
“Many people realise that farmers are struggling to put food on the table but sometimes forge tthat they are also struggling mentally.”
Australian Idol winner and Eurovision contestant Guy Sebastian s set to be the high profile guest on the night, as he is to perform after being approached by the MC of the night ,Grant Denyer.
