I have used this service not infrequently for appointments in Sydney.
However, I still fail to see why this service stops at Mount Victoria, Katoomba and Springwood, when an interurban service follows soon after.

Surely people from Oberon can join the service at Lithgow, and people who want to travel to the aforementioned locations can change for the interurban service at Lithgow.
A significant improvement has been the stop at Westmead; why not at Strathfield? It’s an important interchange for the NSW train network.
