Held at the Bathurst Goldfields, Gold Logie winner Grant Denyer was the MC and Guy Sebastian was the star performer with the Heydays, including local musician Kyle Manning, the supporting act.
All funds raised on the night will be donated to Rural Aid, who will look to employ a specialised counsellor on the ground to help tackle the mental health problems associated with the drought.
The target was $150,000 and the mark was reached late in the night once proceeds from ticket sales, an auction, raffle and silent auction were tallied together.
It is hoped the counsellor will go to work in the Bathurst region within a month.
