True crime writer and award-winning journalist James Phelps tells the story of how a gang of bushrangers pulled off the largest gold robbery in Australia's history at Eugowra Rocks in 1862 in his new book, Australian Heist. NAIDOC celebration will be held from 5.30pm-8.30pm on August 31 at Mount Panorama (near the playground at the top). This will be a free event and will include Aboriginal dancers, a jumping castle, food, stall-holders, music, fairy floss, face-painting and a traditional smoking ceremony.
