The Bureau of Meteorology’s MetEye has been forecast for the Central Tablelands on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
There will be a chance of late snow possible in the south above 1100 metres on Saturday, with snow falls right across the Central Tablelands on Sunday, including in and around Blayney, Lithgow, Oberon and Orange.
Unfortunately, due to Bathurst’s relatively low elevation compared to its surrounding neighbours, snow is not expected to reach the city’s surface.
Snow fell as recently as last Sunday in the Central Tablelands, the most significant falls recorded at Mount Canobolas and in the Oberon’s higher country including Black Springs, Jenolan Caves and Shooters Hill.
