The Saints league tag side went through the regular season unbeaten and have earned their pass through to the second week of finals.
However, they had close calls against the two clubs doing battle in this Sunday’s qualifying semi-finals – Orange Hawks and Bathurst Panthers – which means they’ll have to be on their game for the major semi-final.

“When it comes down to it, no-one really cares about who won the minor premiership. It’s about who wins that grand final,” Armstrong said.
“We’ve just got to keep working and, as they say, the semis are a whole new season.
“Hawks and Panthers got close to us this year when we played them so they’re going to be hard to beat in the semis because they’re only going to improve.
“The girls we’ve had for a while, they keep improving every year, and they girls we’ve brought in this year have just added to the squad. A bit of new blood every year keeps things interesting and we’ve still got that great core of players.”
Pat’s finished six points clear of Hawks at the top of the table after winning all 15 of their matches.
Hawks finished unbeaten in last year’s regular season but lost to Pat’s in the final.
