And that includes the iconic Bathurst City Red Tops Football Club.
They may be one of the smallest football clubs in town but the club and its members are doing what they can to help out farmers during the drought.
They’re currently collecting non-perishable foods and goods, which in turn will be donated to farmers.
Carol Prosser, from Red Tops, said the club has already collected a bucket of goods and is planning to collect even more.
“It was a spur of the moment thing [to start collecting goods for the farmers],” she said.
“When we heard a few other groups doing it, we wanted to help too.

“We normally run meat raffles to fund raise for our club but we can’t do those without our farmers, so we want to help out.”
Ms Prosser said if anyone else would like to get involved, they should donate their non-perishable supplies to the Kelso Hotel.
She is also trying to organise a fundraising shave.
