Australia’s premier cool climate wine show will have 37 classes for its anniversary event this year, incorporating noble varieties and upcoming grape varieties.
Judges were kept busy when the show received more than 800 entries from across the country last year, including wines from every Bathurst vigneron.

The judging for this year’s show will be held from October 16 to 19 and the popular public tasting event will be held on Friday, October 19 – when wine enthusiasts have their own chance to compare the flavours and assess the winemakers’ techniques.
Judges for this year will be Tim Knappstein of Riposte Wines (chief judge), Winewise editor Lester Jesberg, Leigh Ratzmer of Wicks Estate, Russel Cody of McWilliam’s Wines, Simon Nunns of Coopers Creek Vineyard, Peter Kelly of Thorn-Clarke Wines and Cynthea Semmens of Beautiful Isle Wines.
Entries for the show close on Friday, September 14.
