Hamish Keith, CEO of Mayfield Australia, said the property would be an ideal location to host the royal couple.
Mr Keith, who has worked with celebrities and politicians from across the world said the estate would meet the stringent security criteria required, not to mention it has it’s own helipad, main house as well as supplementary accommodation for the couple’s ancillary staff.
He said the royal couple could have exclusive access to Mayfield House, and could wander through Mayfield Gardens, one of the world's largest privately owned cool climate gardens.
“It [the property] ticks all the boxes,” he said.
Bathurst is currently shortlisted as a venue for a regional royal visit from the couple.
If the city is successful in it’s bid, Mr Keith said it would be a “game changer” for regional tourism.
Bathurst and the Hunter Valley were earmarked as possible destinations back in May, and Bathurst has since made the shortlist as a host city.
Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said he expects the successful city will be announced about one month out from the royal visit.
