The young Aboriginal woman has, in a short space of time, created a positive impression with her new employer, TAFE NSW Bathurst.
Ms Pearson fast-tracked her traineeship so she could pursue further training to get the job she wanted at Australia’s largest training provider.

Her hard work paid off when TAFE NSW appointed her to the position of a customer service support officer.
“I loved the help and resources that TAFE NSW provided me with throughout the duration of my traineeship and Certificate III in Business Administration,” she said.
“The knowledge and skills I have developed as a result are priceless.”
She said she had been able to put her new skills into practice in her role at TAFE NSW.
TAFE NSW Bathurst team leader for student services and support, Jessica Plunkett, said Ms Pearson’s appointment to the position recognises her as hard-working and talented.
“Holly has been keen to learn all aspects of customer service and has been receptive to feedback,” Ms Plunkett said.
“She has a strong work ethic, performs her duties to a professional standard and has developed excellent customer service and administration skills.”
