A MAN charged by police following an alleged crime spree in Kelso over the weekend has been refused bail.

Richard James Andrews, 35, was arrested by police on Monday afternoon in Greville Place, Kelso in relation to outstanding warrants.
Police will allege that at the time of his arrest he was in possession of three bags containing the proceeds of alleged thefts from Kelso and Bathurst over the weekend.
Andrews was charged with four counts of receiving/disposing of stolen property, goods suspected of being stolen, possession of house breaking implements, carrying a cutting weapon, possessing or attempting to prescribe a restricted substance, six counts of goods in custody suspected of being stolen, break and enter and take and drive a conveyance without the consent of the owner.
Chifley Police District crime manager Inspector Luke Rankin said the accused was refused bail by police and appeared before Bathurst Local Court on Tuesday where he was again refused bail.
The matter was adjourned to September 17.
