Volunteer students from the six Bathurst high schools will be selling badges, pens and teddy bears in the CBD and shopping centres from 9.30am on Friday as Legacy Badge Day is held around Australia.
Legatees will also go around the pubs on Friday night to raise funds for the cause.
Money raised will be used to support Legacy widows and dependants.

President Arthur Drury was one of a number of people in the Bathurst Legacy office at the Bathurst RSL Club on Monday preparing for the fundraiser.
“They do a great job,” he said of the high school students who donate their time.
He said the Legacy Badge Day activities will be co-ordinated from the Bathurst Senior Citizens’ Centre off Russell Street.
