Wednesday, September 5

A Health and Wellness Seminar for women over 65 will be held from 10.30am-3pm at the Central West Women’s Health Centre at 20 William Street. It will be free (light lunch provided). Register on 6331 4133 or email Ann-marie at healthed@cwwhc.org.au.

Lifeline Central West NSW ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) will be held  from September 8-9 from 8.15am-4.30pm at the Bathurst RSL Club. Cost: $250 (plus GST). Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Includes workbook and certificate. The two-day interactive workshop is for anyone interested in suicide prevention, intervention and first-aid. Participants learn to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and respond in ways that help to increase their immediate safety and link them to further help.
