People born in 1988 also got in for free as the museum celebrated its 30th anniversary since its establishment by the Bathurst Light Car Club.
Some dads were lucky enough to enjoy a ride around Mount Panorama in some of the museum's classic cars: the 1963 Cortina GT, 1966 Mini Cooper ‘S’, 1967 Ford XR GT, 1968 Holden Monaro (HK) GTS 327 and a George Reed Special.
