The Saints will be hunting for Bathurst Women’s Hockey Association first grade glory when taking on Souths at the Cooke Hockey Complex.
It is a slightly different looking team to the Premier League outfit, but one which is still packed full of talent.
The Saints narrowly missed out on the minor premiership and pushed Souths in the major semi-final before going down 3-2.

“There are a few girls that have come up from second grade this year, so it would be great if we could get the win for them,” Pat’s player Kristy Ekert said. “Souths definitely deserve to be there and it will be a hard-fought game no doubt, it will be close.
“We had a fair few chances in that game two weeks ago, but at the end of the day Souths won because they wanted it more. So hopefully we can want it a bit more on Saturday and get the win.”
Pat’s earned another shot at Souths after winning the preliminary final against Waratahs 3-1 last Sunday. Centre half Sophie Conroy was impressive in that match and again shapes as a key.
“Sophie has had an outstanding year, she just really made her mark in the Premier League team. It’s so great to see her doing well, I’m so proud of her too,” Ekert said.
Saturday’s grand final will commence at 3pm.
