This year’s headspace Cup raised in excess of $13,000 which was donated to the charity representatives from Charles Sturt University’s Football Club (CSUFC), which hosted the event.
The headpsace Cup began three years ago with CSU soccer teams versing the rest of Bathurst District Football (BDFA) in a battle to take home the cup.
In it’s first year the event rinsed $2,000 and has since become one of the highlights of the sporting calendar.
Callum Cauduro, from CSUFC, said the fundraising goal for this year was $10,000, and the results exceeded all expectations.
“It has evolved and just gotten bigger and better.”
