I WAS present at the Bathurst Regional Council meeting on Wednesday, September 5 to support Dianne and Kent McNab and hopefully witness the majority of the councillors voting to call for tenders to build the roundabout near the Assumption School.

I was really impressed with councillor Monica Morse. She asked some necessary and pertinent questions about the potential safety of the roundabout.
I was unimpressed with what I saw as some male councillors’ aggressive attitude towards Councillor Morse.
Please, guys, her questions were valid and necessary.
After all, it is the ratepayers who are footing the bill for this roundabout.
Councillor Morse was doing the job we elected her to do.
