Over the coming weeks the Community Matters team will be covering the upcoming Artstate conference to bring you interviews with key organisers of the conference and information about the public arts program that is free to the community.

WHAT else are you doing when you listen to the radio?

The 2MCE Morning Music team is great company on weekdays playing just the right mix of music to ease you through your mornings.
Graham Pascoe and Marcia Bonham start the week with easy listening on Mondays, then Margaret Hargans mixes some jazz into Tuesdays, Barb T features musicals on Wednesdays, Terry Fatseas covers a different musical theme each Thursday and Bruce Powell shares his great knowledge of early Australian rock and roll on Fridays. 2MCE is great company in the mornings.
On the airwaves
SOME other programs you might like to tune in for on Wednesdays include Alison Charters and friends for Cruise Control from 6pm-8pm and Greg Fahey with the Laundromat from 8pm-10pm.
Greg presents a mix of rock, jazz and blues spanning the ’60s through to the ’80s.
You’ll hear a good dose of Australian acts and might even catch some comedy in the mix to keep you entertained for your Wednesday night.
Fun for Friday
TUNE in to 2MCE on Friday afternoons for great listening to kick start your weekend.
From 1pm Hannah and friends present upbeat pop music to put a smile on your face, then it’s Cult Fiction with Tad and Adam from 2pm covering everything film and television pop culture until 4pm.
Ellen Robinson eases through Friday afternoon from 4pm-6pm, followed by Tim Williams with Friday Night Rock from 6pm.
Andrew Lotherington hosts Backbeat from 8pm-10pm featuring great music from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.
It all makes for a packed program of great music to start your weekend.
