Nine Junes met together, as they do four times a year, to catch up and get to know their fellow Junes.
They met most recently at Our Place Or Yours Cafe and Catering at Kelso, but have previously caught up at the old Galloping Grape, the old Continental and the Bathurst RSL.
The group started off “years ago”, according to June Boddington.
“Two ladies were talking to me about a June luncheon, asking for different Junes to attend,” she said.
“So we starting meeting once a year, then we went to two and now we meet four times a year.”
There are roughly 15 Junes in the group, but they don’t all come to the events.
Ms Boddington is unsure if there is a similar group for Mays or Aprils, or any other names.
“I think we’re unique,” she said.
