Fire crews, medics, police, army and politicians put their reputations on the line for the competition, which was a fundraiser to support drought-affected farmers.
In addition to the competition, there was $10,000 worth of items up for auction on the day, one of the prizes being a “celebrity” chef for one meal, courtesy of Cobblestone’s master chef Mani.
Pollet’s also offered a sausage sizzle, face painting and lucky door prizes to those who attended.
Event organiser Ian Pollet hoped to raise $10,000 for the cause.
