Bathurst fans of former Noiseworks frontman Jon Stevens, who was set to perform in Bathurst in May, will finally get the chance to enjoy his music live in concert when the rescheduled show rolls into town next month.
Stevens, who is also known for fronting INXS after the death of lead singer Michael Hutchence and for playing Judas in the 1990s production of stage musical Jesus Christ Superstar, will play at Panthers Bathurst on Friday, October 26.
The revered singer-songwriter is looking forward to reliving the different times of his musical journey, and sharing those experiences with audiences.

Stevens’ May show at Panthers was cancelled due to ill-health.
Get set for a sleepy start to the week
MONDAY week might be a tough one for many Bathurst workers.
It’s not just that it will be the first day of coming back to the earth after the excitement of Race Week; it will also be the first day back at work following the start of daylight saving.
In recent years we’ve had an extra day to get used to the change, but a quirk of the calendar has taken that away from us in 2018.
In NSW, daylight saving starts on the first Sunday in October while the long weekend falls on the first Monday in October.
Obviously, that’s the same weekend in most cases - except when October 1 is a Monday, as is the case this year.
That means when daylight saving starts on Sunday, October 7, we won’t have the luxury of the long weekend Monday to give us an extra night’s sleep to become used to the new sleep pattern.
The same calendar quirk means this weekend’s NRL grand final will be the first played in September since 2012 and just the third September grand final this century.
Finally, let’s hope the Supercars teams are across the “spring forward in spring and fall back in fall” lesson.
No-one wants to be the driver who turns up an hour late for the start of the Bathurst 1000.
