She’s won on the North Coast, the Central Coast and Sydney but now Rema’s Stone has claimed her first win in the Central West, after a narrow win at Kennerson Park on Monday.

The $16.60-odd chance jumped well from the boxes, but was running third after favourite Shane’s World ($1.50) and Good Pal ($4.40) got more favourable starts.
The three dogs proved to be the challengers for the race, with Rema’s Stone pulling ahead of Shane’s World to win, while Good Pal dropped off in the home straight to finish fourth.
Rema’s Stone win was a great win for Werrington Downs trainer Edward Foyle but unfortunately he plans to part with her three-year-old black bitch.
“I’m trying to sell her actually, for $1000. She’s won 16 races now and has got a heap of placings,” he said.
“She’s been a good bitch to me but I’ve got a litter of dogs coming in at Christmas and I can’t have to many dogs anymore.
“That’s my biggest problem, because I’m 82-years-old now and my knees aren’t that good anymore.
“I hope someone buys her, because she’s a handy beginners dog. She’s won a good amount of races.”
It was Rema’s Stone third ever start at Bathurst and easily her best, after an eighth place finish back in March, 2018, and a fall back in December, 2016.
Rema’s Stone best track has proven to be Potts Park, in Sydney, when the hound won four races, with three wins at Wauchope, Richmond and Taree.
She also snagged a victory at Gosford back in January this year.
