The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a minimum of -1 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning, and a zero to start the day on Monday for the first day of October.
The chilly nights will follow what is tipped to be a partly cloudy start to the weekend with the bureau forecasting a 50 per cent chance of up to two millimetres of rain on Saturday and a top of just 14.
Bathurst can expect tops of 16 and 18 on Sunday and Monday.
Meanwhile, tomorrow (Wednesday) is also tipped to bring some rain with a 50 per cent chance of falls up to eight millimetres of rain and a top of just 15 degrees.
