It was wonderful to see the majestic Nev Dawson in full flight last Thursday, his 45 points to win B grade in a canter was a sight to behold! David Travis and Phil Pittaway both had 40 points. The scratch went to Cooper Starkey with 21 points.

Adrian Haynes had 39 points to win A grade from Danny Ross and visitor Gavin Moore who both had 38 points, four over par picked up the scratch for Dave Clemens.
Ross was ably supported by Dave Sams in winning the 2BBB on a count-back over Dawson and John Nicoll after both pairs had 48 points. Dylan Thompson and Darrell Bourke returned one under par for the scratch honours.
Michael Long had 41 points to win Saturday’s A grade Stableford event, Josh Toole (39) and Peter Brien (38) filled the runner-up positions. Darren ‘gazelle’ Smith win the scratch on one over par.
A three-way tie for B grade with Richard Johnson, Glen Buttsworth and Jake Davis, in the end, Johnson was the winner on a count-back. 20 points for Martyn Salmon to win the scratch.
Eisse Woldhuis and Davis (47) combined beautifully to win the 2BBB by two shots over Long and John Lillie, Darryn Bruce, and Darrell Bourke tore the course up to register 40 points and the scratch victory.
Ben Trevor-Jones had 40 points and the Sunday spoils, Shannon Ryan (39) and Damian Bourke (37) rounded out the minors.
Monday’s public holiday attracted a good sized field to the two person Ambrose, winners on the day were Brian Long and Gil Luck who returned a nice 62 nett.
