Bathurst can only wait – along with the rest of the country – to see if it will be selected as one of the new homes of Taco Bell following the success of the chain’s first Australian outlet in the Brisbane suburb of Annerley.
Taco Bell’s Australian franchisee, Collins Foods, announced this week it plans to open 50 new restaurants over the next three years.

South-east Queensland has been cited as a priority for the company but Collins Foods says interstate restaurants will be included in the expansion.
“We have had an overwhelming response to the launch of Taco Bell in Brisbane and we know that the Australian market is hungry for more,” Taco Bell Australia Pacific managing director Ankush Tuli said.
“We can’t wait to give our passionate fans in Australia the chance to enjoy Taco Bell in more cities across the country.”
