Love started from second position on the grid but got a good jump off the line, overtaking pole sitter Jaxon Evans at turn two and led to the chequered flag.
After his win in Saturday’s race two, Evans finished third while Dylan O’Keeffe recovered to second after being spun around at the start of the opening event.
There were intense battles throughout the race highlighted by the fight between Glen Wood, David Wall and James Moffat for position four.
That battle persisted throughout the nine-lap race until Wood crashed heavily in the tyre barrier at turn two after contact with Wall.
Wood’s horror weekend continued after crashing into the wall at McPhillamy Park in race three. Wood was taking avoiding action after Josh Hunt lost control and spun in front.
Dave Stevens in the #50 Wall Racing/Brennan IT Porsche ended his race in the sand trap at Murray’s Corner after being turned around by Anthony Gilbertson during an ambitious overtaking manoeuvre on the penultimate lap.
It was hard to find a car without damage on it, with four cars having to withdraw due to damage.
Only 22 of the 24 cars who entered the round started race three on Sunday.
Stephen Grove enjoyed two wins in the Pro-Am class across the first two races of the weekend and a second place in race three, taking him to a class round victory.
Tim Miles scored his first Pro-Am class victory of 2018 by besting Grove in the last race.
Despite Love and Evans both scoring 162 points for the round, Love won the round courtesy of winning race three.
It the sixth different winner in as many rounds.
With one round to go in the championship Evans holds a 108-point lead over O’Keeffe.
“This is a great way to finish the Bathurst round. We went one step forward in every race, which was amazing. It was a challenging weekend for the team; There was a fair bit of damage for my teammates, so it’s good to get this round win for the team,” said Love.
