The daughter of Rock N Roll Heaven has drawn barrier 10 for the Group 3 Norms Daughter Stakes (1,609 metres), a mare’s only race which has attracted a quality field.
However, Eye See Diamonds did win from the wide draw in her most recent start for Turnbull – last Saturday’s Kevin and Kay Seymour Mares Free For All over the same distance.
That run featured a blistering 26.6 seconds opening sectional as she flew from the gates to take the lead, Eye See Diamonds then matching that pace in the run home to make it two wins from four starts this season.
The former NSW Breeders Challenge victor has also placed second in the Group 3 Adore Me Stakes this season from barrier nine for the The Lagoon trainer-driver.
Saturday’s race is set for 8.20pm.
