CENTRAL West artist and TAFE NSW Bathurst visual arts teacher Bridget Thomas will join forces with emerging talents Kelly Wilkinson and Andy Northedge to launch an exhibition this weekend.
The exhibition, 3 Birds, will showcase some of Ms Thomas’ best prints and drawings from the past year.
As well, it will highlight some of the creations that Ms Wilkinson and Bathurst’s Ms Northedge have produced since completing the Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts at TAFE NSW Orange.
Ms Northedge’s works feature the beauty of nature and pathways in prints and drawings using watercolours.
“The exhibition has been a journey of personal growth for all of us, but particularly Kelly and I,” she said.
Ms Wilkinson, who also works as a disability assistant at TAFE NSW, said she was looking forward to showcasing her artwork “with great friends in Millthorpe, where I live, and outside of a student environment”.
The exhibition will open this Saturday, October 13 at 5pm at the Rosebank Art Gallery, Millthorpe. The guest speaker will be Millthorpe artist Heather Vallance.
The exhibition will show until Saturday, November 18 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-4pm.
