Trained by Eglinton’s Richard Board, Bonnie O’Reilly ($2.80) picked up her 10th career victory in a flashy time of 17.76 seconds.
Reciprocal ($16.50, Barry Conwell) and See Me Now ($1.60 favourite, Mary Hughes) were the placegetters.
Handler Jamie Evans never ceases to be impressed by Bonnie O’Reilly’s consistency.
“That’s the quickest she’s gone. She’s a good honest bitch and she puts in 100 per cent all the time,” he said.
“The older she gets she improves. It all comes down to early mornings and hard work. Richard Board puts in a lot of work with her.”
