Our cast consists of 66 kids, aged six to 17, who have worked crazily around busy after school schedules to practise together and create some very funny scene work.
The kids normally attend weekly classes based on their age, so most of the songs we learned were during those classes, an hour a week.

However, preparing for a show like this means trying to meet up with students from other classes who are required for their scenes. Arranging meetings is a lot of work.
So, rehearsals were predominantly in segments across a few months, with characters missing here and there, until we could manage to get together for group rehearsals.
The kids and teachers have put a lot of work in, as have many parents - not only in chauffeuring their budding stars, but also in creating sets, props and costumes, which also has brought a lot of fun.
CJTS would like to thank all our sponsors for their valued assistance in helping to put this show on, particularly our major sponsor Catholic Heathcare, who have supported us for many years now.
Now, we’re hoping to reward everyone’s hard work with large, appreciative audiences, as they grow in confidence and experience in developing their stagecraft.
SHREK The Musical JR will be full of colour and familiar, entertaining characters, many costume changes and lots of laughter.
Two school shows are being performed on November 15 and 16 and sold out very quickly.
