Watterson opened the scoring for NSW on Sunday in their comprehensive 8-1 win, which has kept them on top of the table with one pool game remaining.
Bunt said its encouraging for the team to head into their last game against ACT with an unblemished record.
“Winning the Queensland game, especially being one of our biggest opponents, was really, really great. Now to get the win over Tasmania is a really great achievement for the team,” she said.
“Now we’re not worried about whether we’ve lost a game and you can move forward and focus clearly on game plans.”
This year’s AHL has brought in the opportunity for teams to take a conversion after field goals, leading to high scoring contests and leaving results uncertain until the dying stages.
Watterson had scored in the Arrows’ victory over Queensland but failed to hit home her conversion.
There were no troubles this time around for Watterson who doubled NSW’s advantage over Tasmania in the 13th minute.
A Kate Jenner penalty corner goal and converted goal from Grace Stewart gave the Arrows a 5-0 lead at half-time.
The Arrows had learned from their 5-3 win over Queensland – in which they held a late 5-1 lead – that the match was never over until the final whistle.
NSW were hungry to give themselves more breathing room and found it with back-to-back blows from Sarah Johnston and Stewart.

The Arrows kept the Van Demons out of the contest right until the 60th and final minute of the match where their opponents picked up a late consolation.
“You never know what to expect with Tasmania. You can’t be complacent against them, and we carried the right attitude throughout the game,” Bunt said.
“When we were a couple of goals ahead we never got complacent and we just kept playing our game and trying to get penalty corners.
“Going into the next game with two wins gives us a lot of confidence but ACT always seem to play their best hockey against us.
“We definitely want to make it three from three and put a really good performance in.”
It will be a family affair for Bunt in this Saturday’s last pool game against the Canberra Strikers.
Bunt’s sister Bec Lee will be a part of a Strikers lineup who still have an outside chance at semi-finals.
NSW are on track to play South Australia in the semi-finals while last year’s grand final lineup – Queensland and Victoria – are looking likely to meet in the other semi.
