The Farm Household Allowance is a federal government payment to help farmers and their partners facing financial hardship.
The session is on this Saturday morning and it will provide information on: who is eligible; how to create a myGov account and claim online; what documents are needed and how to lodge them; and support available.
“We’ll help you claim using our computers, bring your identification, income and asset documents,” an alert by the Department of Human Services said.
The session will be held at the Bathurst Service Centre from 10am until noon. For more information call 6334 8430.
The Rural Financial Counselling Service can also be contacted for assistance by calling 1800 686 175.
