Committee member Michelle Kerr said there were 807 entries for the show this year, consistent with previous years.
Judging was conducted over the course of several days, with the class winners notified by telephone and later revealed to the public.
"The judges were very happy with the wines put up," Ms Kerr said.
The big winner was Riversdale Estate with its 2017 Pinot Noir, which took out the Champion Wine of the Show trophy.
A full list of winners and all the results can be found on the wine show website.
A public tasting was held at Bathurst Panthers Club on Friday night, with around 250 people in attendance.
Ms Kerr said some were concerned about the event moving away from the heritage atmosphere at Bathurst Showground, but they ended up having a great time.
"The feedback was excellent. The room presented quite well," she said.
