The 18-year-old is spending three weeks in Bathurst as part of the budding sister city relationship with her town in England.
Councillor Jess Jennings accompanied Ms Chandler to the property of Graham and Merylyn Russell, where she got to help out.
Mr Russell said she was eager to try different tasks, which included inoculating and tagging calves, moving cattle and feeding.
“She has been absolutely incredible. She was straight on the buggy and drove it around, and she seemed to understand where to put herself in relation to the cattle and moving them – she was never in the way,” he said.
Mr Russell offered his farm as a destination after his own visit to Cirencester, which made him keen to grow the sister city relationship.
Ms Chandler said she had enjoyed the challenges presented to her on the property, having never experienced that kind of lifestyle before.
She was confident that her trip to Bathurst would encourage more youths from her town to do the same.
“People can look at what I’ve done and see that Bathurst is more than a rural area and there are so many things that young people will be interested in,” Ms Chandler said.
