There will be no cost to participants for either event, which follow the Tarana Fight for Farmers fundraiser held in mid-September.
The first of the two events will be a farm business evaluation workshop at the Tarana Fire Shed on Thursday, November 8 from 8.30am (for a 9am start) to 3pm.
Guest speakers will include a representative from Rabobank talking about what the financial markets mean to farmers; Anthony Clarke from the NSW Department of Primary Industries talking about the latest weather analysis; and Aidan Keough from Lifeline talking about mental health.
All speakers will be available for an open forum at the end of the day and morning tea and lunch will be provided by the Tarana Hotel.

The second event will be a Tarana Agronomist Day on Tuesday, November 13 from 9am at Peter Moore’s property at 941 Sodwalls Road.
David Harbison, from DR Agriculture, will present information on pasture drought recovery, preparing for future droughts and where to from here.
Mr Harbison will answer any questions participants have on the day and lunch will be provided at no charge at the Tarana Hotel.
