As the sun started to set, hordes of ghosts, ghouls and gremlins – and plenty more colourful characters – hit the streets to go trick or treating for Halloween.
And, as this gallery of photos from our readers shows, the fun is really starting to catch on in the city.
It seemed there were more kids dressed up than ever before and more homes ready to hand out sweet treats to the visitors.
And we’re tipping it will only get bigger and better next year.
