Bathurst Goldfields owner Debbie Campbell, was rewarded for her efforts taking out the Business Leader (aged 35+) category, while the team was also recognised with the Excellence in Education award, and to top the night off Bathurst Goldfields were named the Peak Connect Carillon Business of the Year.
In just their fourth year of ownership, Debbie said that the wins were reward for the entire team. “It’s for all their hard work and dedication to Bathurst Goldfields over the last four years to bring it back to life and into the future in a big way,” she said.

With the goal of increasing visitation to Bathurst focusing on student visitors and large scale events, Debbie said the key to success so far came down to being willing to try new things. “We’ve been stepping out of the box and having vision for something a little different, and of course a whole lot of hard work”.
Bathurst Goldfields has two sides to its business – education and events. They are the largest education facility in the Central West, hosting over 20,000 students per year, while their event and function centre is one of the newest and largest in the region offering Bathurst the opportunity to host events that were never able to come to the region previously due to their size.
