Representatives from the God’s Squad Christian Motorcycle Club [CMC] passed through Bathurst last Friday, November 2 as part of their annual national tour.

Around 250 people, club members and their families, congregated at the Bathurst Baptist Church to spread their good will and positive messages.
“It’s a fair dinkum motorcycle club, but it’s also a deeply christian motorcycle club,” God’s Squad Melbourne chapter vice president David Fuller said.
“Our key fidelity is the gospel of Jesus Christ, but we also value loyalty, perseverance and commitment.”
The God’s Squad CMC was founded in Melbourne in the early 1970s by John Smith, and has since grown significantly nationally and internationally.
Along with 20 chapters in Australia, the God’s Squad CMC also sports various chapters throughout Europe, as well as a solitary chapter in the United States.
“Each chapter is unique in its local focus, playing a key role in the welfare of motorcyclists,” Mr Fuller said.
“A lot of us also work in the human welfare sector as street chaplains and church workers, as well as offering support for troubled youth.”
With the road serving as their key calling, the God’s Squad CMC pride themselves on sharing faith and positive messages with the many communities they visit.
“No one’s paid to be in God’s Squad, and we expect a lot of commitment and sacrifice from all our members,” Mr Fuller said.
